Tegas joins ASKOMP
On October 14, 2009, a ceremony was held to admit the Tegas Industrial Group to ASKOMP.
The Association of Compressor and Pneumatics Specialists (ASKOMP) of Saint Petersburg was established in 1991. Since 1998 the Association has been headed by its permanent Chairman Galerkin Yuriy Borisovich, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Head of the Compressor, Vacuum and Refrigeration Engineering Chair at St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University, an Academician of the International Academy of Refrigeration. ASKOMP comprises leading compressor and pneumatic equipment manufacturers in Russia and the CIS.
ASKOMP seeks to:
• bolster cooperation and information exchange between engineering staff, researchers and specialists who design, manufacture and operate compressor and pneumatic equipment;
• identify new ideas, consolidate and disseminate positive experience, including experience gained abroad;
• collaborate with national and international professional organizations.
ASKOMP is an independent association of production and research organizations consolidating and shaping the advanced international experience in the compressor and pneumatic technology.
In contrast to similar associations ASKOMP operates under the aegis of a research and educational institution and thus is eliminated of biased and lobbied decisions protecting the interests of some vendors.
We would like to express our cordial gratitude to ASKOMP staff and personally to Chairman Yuriy Borisovich Galerkin for the honour and opportunity to promote compressor equipment produced by our enterprises.
