Carbon dioxide is a necessary element of many industrial processes. Carbon dioxide is used:
• as an active shielding gas for welding and cutting metal - to protect the molten metal from air exposure;
• in the food industry: production of sparkling water, dry ice generation for cooling, freezing and storage of products, as a preservative (E290) and as a baking powder;
• for drying molds, in the production of easy oxidized metals - in particular, aluminum;
• fire fighting - carbon dioxide effectively stops burning;
• liquid carbon dioxide is actively used for welding.

Tegas Company is the manufacturer of equipment for receiving and pumping carbon dioxide and dry ice. We produce a series of carbon dioxide plants UVZHS. From the prepared gaseous carbon dioxide, these plants generate:
• liquefied carbon dioxide for bottling it in carbon-dioxide cylinders with a capacity of 40-50 liters. The pressure of liquid carbon dioxide in cylinders - 55-75 atmospheres;
• dry ice in 20x20x85cm blocks, weighing 42-44kg.

For pumping of liquid carbon dioxide and dry ice, as well as for use in the production of liquid carbon dioxide and dry ice, Tegas offers compressors 2UM and 2UP. These are fixed three-stage piston compressors. They have two independent lubrication systems: of cylinders, and of movement mechanism. The cooling system is water-based. The drive of compressors is built-in electric motor.
