Because nitrogen is anhydrous, the painting or coating process becomes much more constant than with compressed air. The results are a higher quality finish using less dye and material. The nitrogen is ionized and pushed through a heated hose which results in quicker flash times meaning increased throughput and efficiency and less VOC's in the atmosphere because of higher transfer efficiency and a reduction in solvents.
